Sharon R. Dieter has been involved in emergency room care for 17 years


VINTON, IA, June 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sharon R. Dieter, RN, BSN, a registered nurse with Virginia Gay Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in emergency room care.

Sharon R. Dieter has been caring for Virginia Gay Hospital's pre and post-surgical patients as well as the hospital's emergency room patients since 1991. A staff nursing veteran, she also precepts nursing students. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coe College and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse through the Hawkeye Institute of Technology, now Hawkeye Community College. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and was listed in the 2008 Edition of 100 Great Iowa Nurses. She enjoys participating in mission work during her free time and attributes her success to her work ethic and moral values.
