PARMA, OH, August 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Margaret Sagri, Social Worker for Parma Community General Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of social work.

With an impressive professional background, Margaret Sagri specializes in the provision of social work services for the patients of Parma Community General Hospital. At her post, she manages cases pertaining to rehabilitation, oncology and maternity. Additionally, she conducts social assessments, consults with patients and their families and determines appropriate discharge plans. When she's not working, she acts as a volunteer rape crisis counselor.

Ms. Sagri notes that a desire to educate and help others prompted her to pursue a vocation in healthcare. She considers reuniting a terminally ill patient with his family to be the highlight of her career, and attributes her success to her compassion, positive attitude and ability to understand the needs of her patients. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was honored with the Pillars of Excellence Award by Parma Community General Hospital in 2008. A licensed clinical social worker, she earned a master of arts in human services from John Carroll University in 1979 and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kent State University.
