Cody L. Brown Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Cody L. Brown Became a PA-C Because He Wanted More Interaction with Patients
POLSON, MT, September 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cody L. Brown, Orthopedic Physician Assistant for Saint Joseph's Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.
Mr. Brown's expertise lies in orthopedics. In 2001, he brought his talents to Saint Joseph's, where he is responsible for managing a clinic and satellite clinic, seeing patients, taking readings and evaluating X-rays, referring patients to surgeons, assisting in surgeries, and following up with patients while they're hospitalized. Originally set on a career as a licensed practical nurse, Mr. Brown decided to become a physician assistant as well because he wanted a more hands-on experience with patients. He attributes his success to persevering and adhering to that classic battle cry, "Just do it!"
In addition to his LPN and PA-C, Mr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2001 from Idaho State University. His professional affiliations include the Physician Assistant Orthopaedic Academy, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Montana State Physician Assistant Group. Away from work, he designs waterfalls as a landscaper and flies remote control airplanes. He is the proud recipient of two scouting awards: an Eagle Scout Award and an Order of the Arrow. Now that he has completed his schooling, Mr. Brown looks forward to spending more time with his wife and two young children.
