Fascinated by the challenges associated with medical technology, Joyce Howard began her career as a technologist 38 years ago. For the past 15 years, she has held management positions for a number of medical centers, the last four of which have been with Clarian North. At her post, she manages the continuing education for the laboratory staff and utilizes her expertise to plan and implement curriculum for medical technologists.

Hard work and persistence are the undisputed keys to Ms. Howard's success. She holds a Ph.D. in healthcare administration from Cambridge International University and is professionally affiliated with American Medical Technologists and the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Scientists.
