Kickball Tournament to Benefit the American Heart Association: Entertainment and fun for the whole family
HealthONE's The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) Emergency Medical Services and Trauma departments in conjunction with The American Heart Association (AHA) will host its first Community Kickball Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, July 31.

AURORA, CO, June 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- HealthOne's The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) Emergency Medical Services and Trauma departments in conjunction with The American Heart Association (AHA) will host its first Community Kickball Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, July 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Employees of the hospital and their families will compete with teams from Rural/Metro Ambulance, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, Rose Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and University of Colorado Hospital to become the kickball tournament champions. The public is invited to watch the exciting kickball tournament while enjoying concession stands, fire engines tours by the Aurora Fire Department, AirLife Denver helicopter tours, ambulance tours by Rural/Metro Ambulance, a moon bounce jumping castle, face painting and much more. The kickball tournament and entertainment is free and open to the public. All donations at the event will benefit the AHA.

"The tournament is an opportunity for hospital employees and the local community to give back to the American Heart Association and support their mission to build healthier lives," said Mark Mayes, Interim Director of Emergency Services at The Medical Center of Aurora.
