Ms. Hoffman Rios has experience in maternal child health and occupational health nursing, health education and counseling. She moves with her husband, a Foreign Service Officer, every couple of years and finds employment in the medical field in the country in which she presently resides. She has been a hospital manager at the American Heart Institute in Nicosia,Cyprus, a healthcare practioner at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain, an occupational healthcare nurse for the UN Food and Agricultural Organization in Rome, Italy and a clinical educator for labor and delivery at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. She presently lives in Geneva, Switzerland with her family where she teaches, develops maternal child health entrepreneurial projects and writes children's books.
