John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is an Ambulatory Medicine and surgery facility. They provide ophthalmology, otolaryngology and infusion services. Lynch is responsible for managing numerous operations as well as ambulatory services.

Carmela is currently attending Waldon University where she is working towards attaining her Doctorate Degree. She is a member of the Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives, Maryland Hospital Association and Maryland Association of Healthcare Executives as well as part of the Sigma Pau International Honor Society. Lynch has American Certification in Ambulatory Care and Nursing.
