SUDBURY, ON, CANADA, October 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pamela E. Plummer, Nurse Clinician at Sudbury Regional Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
Ms. Plummer has 22 years of overall professional experience. As a nurse clinician, she is responsible for precepting new nurses, developing and reviewing policies and procedures, educating the staff, overseeing 55 registered nurses, and assisting patients in the labor and delivery unit. She also teaches midwifery courses to residents, neonatal resuscitation programs, fetal monitoring at Laurentian University. Prior to joining Sudbury Regional Hospital, she worked in the labor and delivery unit at St. Michael's Hospital. She also worked as a labor and delivery nurse in Saudi Arabia for six years.
In 1988, Ms. Plummer became a registered nurse at Cambrian College. She is a certified lactation consultant, and holds a certification in fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation instruction. She is a member of the Ontario Nurses' Association, and the International Board of Lactation Consultants.
