Mary V. Friscia Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Mary V. Friscia celebrates 10 years as a Quality Analyst for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Inc.

Northridge, CA, November 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary V. Friscia, Quality Analyst for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health care quality analysis.

With 10 years of experience as a quality analyst for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Inc., Mary V. Friscia is responsible for reviewing medical cases, overseeing and ensuring proper patient care, checking nursing and physicians' protocol, attending meetings, maintaining processes and procedures, and consulting on various issues. Ms. Friscia's contribution resulted in the medical center receiving four years re-accreditation with commendation for the physician continuing education program due to the strong quality improvement component of the audit, and her contribution to the audits have led to a cost savings of 25 percent for the foundation. She became involved in her position after gaining experience working as a medical administrator and medical facility auditor, and she attributes her success to her enthusiasm and ability to overcome challenges.

Ms. Friscia completed coursework in Health care Administration and Organizational Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the Alumni Association of the University of California, Los Angeles, and the D.O.L.L.S. She has been an Occupational Specialist for Reaccredidation, and is a past member of the Advisory Board for North-West Colleges.
