Terri Davidson celebrates six years as a registered nurse for the Memorial Hospital & Health System
SOUTH BEND, IN, November 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Terri Davidson, Registered Nurse for the Memorial Hospital & Health System, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical and surgical procedures.
With six years of experience as a registered nurse for the Memorial Hospital & Health System, Ms. Davidson is responsible for working in the medical and surgical units, assessing patients, administering medications, care plans, starting IV therapy, and phoning physicians for orders. She is also titled as a charge nurse and those duties entail providing staffing, assigning patients, preparing census for subsequent shifts, and assisting staff as needed with patient care, performing chart work and documentation. She attributes her success to her passion for the industry and her organizational skills, time management skills and communication skills.
Ms. Davidson has earned an associate degree in nursing. In 2004, she was the recipient of a Rice Award, which is a peer nominated award disseminated based on respect, integrity, compassion and empathy displayed by awardees. In five years, Ms. Davidson intends to establish an elderly home care facility, and receive a master's degree in nursing.
