Ms. Jurenec's ability to focus on the big picture has advanced her career in the health care industry. With 20 years of experience, she now has oversight of all operations, as the chief executive officer, at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. The hospital is a freestanding inpatient acute rehabilitation center with 40 beds in total. Ms. Jurenec is responsible for managing a staff of 153, strategic planning, developing programs, evaluating financial and quality performance, and ensuring patient and staff satisfaction.

Ms. Jurenec became involved in her profession through her lifelong interest in the field of health care. She obtained a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and a master's degree in health care administration from Cardinal Stritch University. A member of the American College of Health Care Executives, she looks forward to continued professional growth.
