COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, December 08, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael E. LaFayette, Nurse Practitioner for Pain Care Center, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

For the last 27 years, Mr. LaFayette's caring nature has contributed to the compassionate and individualized level of attention he has provided for his patients. As a nurse practitioner, he is responsible for assisting and treating patients with muscular and skeletal issues on a day-to-day basis. With a honed expertise in primary care and workers' compensation, he has met with a cornucopia of accomplishments, which he attributes to his patients. According to Mr. LaFayette, the most gratifying aspect of his career is witnessing his patients' health improve.

Through his desire to serve others, Mr. LaFayette retained a master's degree in nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center after having already earned a Bachelor of Science in the same discipline. Likewise, he holds a second Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Physical Education. To further explore the avenue of nursing, Mr. LaFayette became a certified family nurse practitioner, and a rehabilitation registered nurse. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The American Nurses Association, Inc. In the coming years, Mr. LaFayette intends to serve the community and spend time with his wife, Nancy, and their two daughters, Joan and Laura
