Marcia Louisa Goodman Honored by Exclusive Professional Organization
Marcia Louisa Goodman recognized for 46 years in healthcare

EAST HARTFORD, CT, March 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Marcia Louisa Goodman, Ph.D., Medical Resident at Knox Cardiology Practice, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medicine.

Always believing that one should persevere in the face of obstacles, Marcia Louisa Goodman has 46 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry. Specializing in cardiology and nursing, she is currently a resident at St. Francis Hospital and holds both an Honorary MD and a Ph.D. from Yale University. Dr. Goodman also works for The American National Red Cross, Social Security and Medicare as a lab technician. She has served as a registered nurse in the West Indies and Bermuda. In fact, she has worked as a lab technician for a total of 15 years, and as a registered nurse for nine.

Dr. Goodman has also done a great deal of work in the theater business, having served as assistant director for the Championship Season on Broadway. During this stint, she worked with some of Broadway's brightest stars. She also worked on the soap opera, "Another World," appeared in a rendition of "The Taming of the Shrew" and managed a community theater.

A proud contributor to the National Wildlife Federation, the ASPCA and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Dr. Goodman is an affiliate of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of the Amaranth.
