Penny Santiago performs phlebotomy services for Northern Cochise Community Hospital

BENSON, AZ, March 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Penny Santiago, Phlebotomist for Northern Cochise Community Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical technology.

A certified phlebotomist, Penny Santiago celebrates her second year with Northern Cochise Community Hospital in Willcox, Arizona. Best noted for her interactive skills, she provides a relaxed atmosphere for patients while she draws blood and reviews test results. Ms. Santiago performs drug screenings and breath alcohol tests, and is responsible for a myriad of administrative duties, which include reviewing results, monitoring inventory and consulting with physicians.

Currently pursing a degree in radiology, Ms. Santiago is certified in drug collection and earned certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Moving forward in her career, she intends to become actively involved in the field of medical imaging or nursing.
