Amber Nicole Strickler Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Amber Nicole Strickler cares for critically ill children in the pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit
LITTLE ROCK, AR, April 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amber Nicole Strickler, Registered Nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
Ms. Strickler has three years of overall professional experience. Her responsibilities at Arkansas Children's Hospital include caring for critically ill children affected by trauma, multi-system failure, and those who underwent cardiovascular surgery for congenital heart defects. One of her most important duties is helping the families of the patients.
In 2007, Ms. Strickler received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, from University of Central Arkansas. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Family Practice from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (expected graduation December 2011) and is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International and the Dean's List.
Additionally, Ms. Strickler is a promotional model for the Sports Radio Station 103.7 The Buzz. She promotes the radio station at various events and also raises money for charities.
Arkansas Children's Hospital is one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, serving children from birth to age 21. The hospital specializes in childhood cancer, pediatric cardiology, neonatology, pediatric orthopedics, vascular anomalies and more.
