Backed by over four decades of professional experience, Lavinia R. Bullock demonstrates professional expertise in medical administrative support as CME/Medical Library Assistant for the Gwinnett Hospital System. She now thrives in her 13th year in her current position, responsible for assisting in the library's daily operations. She assists in providing medical education for physicians and literature searches. In addition to her work as a Healthquest ambassador, a safety prime and infection control liaison and a former member of the Associate Leadership Committee, Ms. Bullock has been honored with six Physician Recognition Awards, one award for excellence in non-clinical support and five Perfect Attendance Awards.

In a sit-down interview with Cambridge Publishing, Ms. Bullock noted that her passion for the field of healthcare has served as a driving motive in her career. She enjoys membership in the Atlanta Health Science Libraries Consortium, the Georgia Health Sciences Library Association, the GOLD/GALILEO Users Group and the National Notary Association. Ms. Bullock also holds an associate degree in specialized business management from the International School of Correspondence.
