Cheryl L. Spiece received a master of science in advanced practice nursing from Athabasca University

ONTARIO, CANADA, May 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Cheryl L. Spiece, Nurse Practitioner, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.

As a nurse practitioner, Ms. Spiece works in a physician's office, assessing and diagnosing patients. She educates patients, directs them to healthcare professionals, and conducts research for her physician. Prior to her current position, Ms. Spiece worked as an operating room Registered Nurse. With 39 years of professional experience, she attributes her success to her determination and the support she receives from her colleagues.

In 2005, Ms. Spiece received a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing from Athabasca University. A founding member of the Ontario Nurses' Association, she belongs to the Nurse Practitioners' Association of Ontario and the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada. Ms. Spiece is also a Registered Nurse First Assistant. In the future, she intends to pursue a Ph.D.
