Talbert-Sterne, Senior Speech and Language Pathologist, and Clinical Therapist for Healthsouth Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare.

Ms. Talbert-Sterne has 30 years of overall professional experience. At her current post, she treats patients who are affected with cerebral vascular accidents and have traumatic brain injuries, and conducts dysphagia and voice rehabilitation treatments. She also treats neurological degenerative disease, and Parkinson's disease. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1977 from Southern Illinois University and her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1979 from Southern Illinois University.

In 1988, Ms. Talbert-Sterne received the Outstanding Lieutenant Governor Award from Civitan International. She received the Distinguished President's Award from Civitan International in 1987. She is a member of the Indiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
