Dr. Eileen Tyrala, a leading professional in healthcare, celebrates 39 years in the industry

PHILADELPHIA, PA, May 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Eileen Tyrala, Pediatrician for St. Chris Care at Falls Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare.

Dr. Tyrala has 39 years of overall professional experience. She serves as a pediatrician for the St. Chris Care at Falls Center as well as a public health advocate for the Philadelphia Department of Health. She also serves as medical director for Cribs for Kids, the National Infant Safe Sleep Program. Prior to her current position, she served as the director of Newborn Services and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Temple University Hospital and was a Professor of Pediatrics at Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Tyrala received her MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She holds a board certification in neonatal medicine and pediatrics, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
