Laura Harrow's educational background enables her to thrive as a licensed practical nurse and certified long-term care nurse for Heritage Health Care Center
VENICE, FL, May 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Laura Harrow, LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Long-Term Care Nurse for Heritage Health Care Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.
As a licensed practical nurse and certified long-term care nurse for the Heritage Health Care Center, Laura Harrow is responsible for treating patients with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, and administering long-term care. Ms. Harrow has worked with the elderly population for nearly 30 years and was previously an assistant unit manager at a long-term care facility. She enjoys helping homeless veterans and elderly people, and plans to obtain certification in Alzheimer's and dementia care. She became involved in her profession because of the support she received from her family, and she attributes her success to her educational background and passion for her profession.
Ms. Harrow became a Licensed Practical Nurse through Clarendon College in 1994, and she holds a certification in long-term care. She is a member of the National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Service, Inc. and the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care.
