Candace Sue Simbalenko to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Candace Sue Simbalenko is a board member for the American Cancer Society, Inc.
STOCKTON, CA, June 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Candace Sue Simbalenko, Manager of Breast Health Outreach Programs for St. Joseph's Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in breast cancer support and prevention advocacy.
With 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Simbalenko's expertise is in ambulatory and mobile health care. At St. Joseph's Medical Center, she coordinates and manages the only digital mobile mammography program in northern California, which she helped begin in 2006. Ms. Simbalenko also oversees 14 staff members and works with community organizations. She attributes her success to her faith in God and the support she receives from her colleagues.
A registered nurse, Ms. Simbalenko received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Chapman University. She is a former volunteer advisory board member for the American Cancer Society, Inc. and affiliated with The American Nurses Association, Inc. In 2008, Ms. Simbalenko was recognized by Catholic Healthcare West with a Values in Action Award for Excellence. She also earned a Nursing Distinction Award from the Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. Ms. Simbalenko is heavily involved with Shades of Survivorship, a support group for women of color dealing with breast cancer.
