Diane Royse celebrates 26 years in patient care

LAWRENCEBURG, TN, June 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Diane Royse, Registered Nurse and ICU Manager at Crockett Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing care administration.

With a lifelong ambition to care for others, Diane Royse chose to pursue a career in healthcare 26 years ago. She became a licensed practical nurse in 1983 and went on to earn an associate degree in nursing from Columbia State Community College in 1991. Eager to continue her education, she attended The University of Alabama, Huntsville, where she received her bachelor of science in nursing in 2001. Today, she holds a master of science in nursing with a concentration in advanced practice nursing from the same school.

She draws upon her extensive academic background as a registered nurse and ICU manager at Crockett Hospital, positions which she has held for two years. Recognized for her expertise in cardiac care, she oversees both staff and the administration of patient care, processes payroll, and manages all supplies for the intensive care unit. Named Professional of the Year in Nursing Care Administration by Cambridge Who's Who, Ms. Royse is distinguished for her longevity in nursing as well as for her determination to continually improve her capacity for excellent care. She is currently progressing towards the level of nurse practitioner and will hope to earn her certification as such in the next five years.
