Dr. Natasha M. Tiffany celebrates six years as a physician for Hematology Oncology of Salem
SALEM, OR, June 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Natasha M. Tiffany, Physician for Hematology Oncology of Salem, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in cancer treatment.
As a physician with Hematology Oncology of Salem, Dr. Tiffany is responsible for treating patients with cancer and blood disorders. Dr. Tiffany is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Oregon Health & Science University, and is an active member of the Salem Hospital Cancer Institute where she serves as Vice-Chair of the Breast Cancer Committee. She became involved in her profession because of her love for science, training in oncology and passion for helping people. She attributes her success to her hard work, teaching ability, compassion, and ability to listen to her patients.
Dr. Tiffany completed her Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Oregon Health & Science University in 2004, her Residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2001, and her Internship in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1999. She received her MD from the Oregon Health & Science University, where she graduated Cum Laude in 1998, her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Oberlin College in 1992, and her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music College in 1992. She is a member of the Oregon Medical Association, the Southwest Oncology Group, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, The Phi Beta Kappa Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine.
