An energetic and enthusiastic leader, Sharon L. Furbur brings 20 years of professional experience to Telerx, an outsourcing contact center company. Noted for her expertise in group and leadership development, she works primarily in the human resources department, where she is in charge of overseeing professional development for all associates. Her responsibilities include managing a team of five corporate site training managers in various locations and one senior manager of learning solutions, consulting with team members and managers, and mentoring. Mrs. Furbur is passionate about education and makes an investment in each member of her team, working hard to facilitate their professional development and success.

Widely respected in her field, Mrs. Furbur regularly embarks on motivational speaking engagements for various companies and has done external consulting for LeHigh Valley Hospital & Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems. She also taught small business classes at LeHigh Valley Community College and co-wrote a chapter with Dr. Susan A. Whelan in the book, "Facilitating Group Communications in Context." Mrs. Furbur holds certifications in crucial conversations from VitalSmarts and a certification in group development from GDQ Associates, Inc. She is currently working towards receiving an Executive Certificate through Cornell University. She is a member of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals and a former member of the board of directors of the American Society for Training & Development. Her goals for the next five years include embarking on speaking engagements at large events and writing a book.
