Glenda L. Kelley Receives Cambridge Publishing's Highest Honor
Glenda L. Kelley named Professional of the Year in Healthcare Administration


TEMPLE, TX, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glenda L. Kelley, Medical Administrative Secretary for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Division of Scott & White Hospital and Clinic, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Healthcare Administration. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.

An expert healthcare administrator, Glenda L. Kelley is distinguished for 25 years of dedicated service to Scott & White Hospital and Clinic, located in Temple, Texas. She originally began her career with the facility as an aide in transport and held a number of varying positions before settling in as a medical administrative secretary for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Division in 2006. She aided patients with hydrotherapy and served as a case manager for those who sustained work-related injuries before moving on to earn the position of patient service representative. She currently arranges rehabilitative consultations and compiles patient data for use by medical professionals. In addition, she conducts quarterly, monthly and yearly audits, generates medical reports for patients and handles all associated administrative functions.

Ms. Kelley is proud to be the first member of her family to have earned a collegiate degree. She attended Temple College, where she received an associate degree in applied arts. Currently, she is pursuing a bachelor of business administration at American InterContinental University to be awarded in August of this year. Ms. Kelley holds automated external defibrillator certification and is professionally affiliated with the American Stroke Association.
