Lisa Marie Destrampe McCarthy treats all ages and ailments, providing the best possible care for her patients


PAYSON, AZ, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lisa Marie Destrampe McCarthy, RN, BSN, CEN, Emergency Nurse for Payson Regional Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.

As an emergency nurse for Payson Regional Medical Center, Ms. Destrampe McCarthy specializes in emergency care. She assists patients in the emergency room, treats ailments, oversees patient care, educates patients and families and teaches and mentors fellow nurses through attending meetings and conferences of the Emergency Nurses Association. Payson Regional Medical Center was named one of the nation's Top 100 Hospitals by Thomson Reuters for their excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, satisfaction, financial performance and operational efficiency.

Currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Nursing with a nurse educator specialization at Capella University, Ms. Destrampe McCarthy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of New Mexico in 2000 and her Associate Degree of Liberal Arts with honors from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute in 1998. A registered nurse and certified emergency nurse, she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, a nurses honor society, as well as the American Nurses Association and the Emergency Nurses Association. In the future, she would like to become a leader in emergency nursing and attain a position in an organization to promote her profession.
