Margaret K. Mazzola, MPA collaborates with Staten Island University Hospital's Chief Medical Officer to achieve organizational goals

Lending more than 16 years of experience to the Staten Island University Hospital, Margaret K. Mazzola specializes in healthcare administration, with a focus on projects and emergency management. As an Administrative Associate, she is responsible for collaborating with the chief medical officer and chief of staff to achieve organizational goals. She also manages related projects, liaises with physicians, and monitors policy compliance.

Among her many contributions to the hospital, Ms. Mazzola's greatest career achievement thus far has been participating in the preparation of the application and related organizational alignment to achieve winning the 2003 JCAHO Codman Award. Last year, she was named "Professional of the Year in Healthcare Administration," a title awarded by Cambridge Publishing in recognition of outstanding professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership abilities.
