Sid Chocklett Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Doctor Sid Chocklett celebrates nine years as a volunteer for Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital


LEXINGTON, VA, July 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Doctor Sid Chocklett, Volunteer for Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of psychology.

With nine years of experience as a Volunteer for Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital, as well as two terms as President of their Auxiliary, Dr. Chocklett continues to demonstrate leadership within this organization. Dr. Chocklett retired from the Pentagon after 31 years of service. He has served seven Presidents of the United States: Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and Bush Jr. He was at the Pentagon on September 11. While working on his degree, he was deeply involved in the Information Technology Field and eventually became Dir/Executive Information Systems for the Air Force at the Pentagon. As a physician at the Pentagon, Dr. Chocklett worked with young military personnel who were having difficulty adjusting to military life, depression and separation anxiety. He became involved in his profession when, after graduating, he was recruited by a professional to work with the Pentagon and the White House Military Office. He attributes his success to the experience he gained working with the Federal Government.

Dr. Chocklett received his MD from Georgetown University in 1993 and his Doctorate in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1979.
