MaryJo McPhail develops product lines by establishing collaborative infrastructures

Atlantis, FL, August 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MaryJo McPhail, MBA, PT, Director of The Orthopedic Institute at JFK Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative operations.

With 24 years of professional experience, Ms. McPhail serves as the Director of The Orthopedic Institute at JFK Medical Center. An expert in program development, she develops product lines by establishing collaborative infrastructures; MaryJo coaches healthcare managers and develops strategic plans for program development and growth. After launching her career as a physical therapist in 1986, she accepted a role in hospital administration in 1992 as the Director of Rehabilitation Services. She joined JFK in 1999 and became the Director of Orthopedic and Spine Services in 2006. She lectures in her community, coaches and consults others. She also serves as the chairperson of the Palm Beach County Chapter's Arthritis Walk, which is sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation.

Ms. McPhail received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 1986. In 2009, she obtained her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. A licensed physical therapist in the States of New Jersey and Florida, she is affiliated with the Florida Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Throughout her career, she has attained several awards, including the HCA Innovator Award in the Customer Service and Quality Care categories from JFK Medical Center (2010), the Success Factor Improvement Award from Accelero Health Partners (2008), the Manager of the Month Award (2004, 2000) and the Director of the Year Award (2001). In the future, she intends to work in marketing and program development for large healthcare institutions.
