As an infection control nurse for Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, Mary Jo Foreman is responsible for assisting employees and physicians, managing data collection, and networking with the health department. She became involved in her profession because she found the field of infection control to be challenging and ever¬changing, and she attributes her success to her passion for helping people.

Ms. Foreman is pursuing an MBA, having received a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Francis Joliet in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1974. She is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.
