Ruth Elizabeth Shafel honored for more than 30 years of service

A seasoned healthcare veteran, Ruth Shafel is a certified medical technician with over 30 years of experience in emergency medicine. Her professional resume is extensive—she spent 28 years as an emergency medical technician in an ambulatory setting. She has also taught first aid classes for thousands of school children through The Eddie Eagle Gun Safe program. For her demonstrated commitment to healthcare, Mrs. Shafel has been featured in The Daily News of Rhinelander and recognized with an award for 20 years of service.
In addition to her many accomplishments, Mrs. Shafel is knowledgeable in grant proposal writing, recovery and operating room healthcare, patient vitals monitoring, mentoring and coaching.
