Dr. Ebru Gultekin Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Ebru Gultekin, MD, named Cambridge Publishing's 2010 Professional of the Year in Pediatrics

FORT THOMAS, KY, September 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ebru Gultekin, MD, Pediatrician at River Hills Pediatrics, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Pediatrics. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership abilities.

A veteran healthcare provider, Dr. Ebru Gultekin has been a practicing pediatrician since 1995. For the past 12 years of her career, she has lent her talents to River Hills Pediatrics in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, where she treats children with a variety of medical conditions. Dr. Gultekin also performs routine rounds at the hospital and is recognized for her warm and caring nature by both her peers and patients.

Dr. Gultekin is a board certified pediatrician and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville in 1990 and completed her pediatric residency at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky in 1993. She also completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 1995. Dr. Gultekin is professionally affiliated with the Greater Louisville Medical Society, the Northern Kentucky Medical Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Women's Association and the American Medical Association. As she moves forward in her career, she intends to participate in hospital committees and become involved in clinical research projects.

River Hills Pediatrics has two locations, in Fort Thomas and Alexandria, and is comprised of three physicians and one physician's assistant.
