Having recently celebrated her silver anniversary with the hospital, Ms. Kerr is recognized for her dedication to the pathology department, where she diagnoses and monitors various diseases utilizing information gathered from clinical laboratory tests.

In an exclusive interview with Cambridge Publishing, Ms. Kerr recalled having always been interested in the healthcare field. While attending college, she attained a position at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio where she gained extensive hands-on training in microbiology and pathology. Ms. Kerr became a certified specialist through the American Society for Clinical Pathology and attributes her success to unwavering perseverance.

Ms. Kerr holds a bachelor of science in biology and chemistry from Kent State University, earned in 1966. Her professional affiliations include the South Central Association for Clinical Microbiology.
