Medical Community Takes Notice of 100 Northern Boulevard Project in Corona
Located on the northwest corner of Northern Blvd and 101st Street in Corona, Queens, a new development project is creating a buzz within the local medical community. With its ergonomic design, this two-story building is perfect for a medical clinic.

CORONA, NY, July 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With critical care centers like Elmhurst Hospital Center to the south, Mt. Sinai Queens to the west and New York Hospital Queens to the east, in many respects Corona, Queens is the center of the region's asphalt arteries. It's a location that, thanks to a state-of-the-art building under construction by 100 Northern Blvd. Real Estate, could benefit the multitudes of patients leaving nearby hospital doors worrying where to go next.

The environmentally-friendly glass and steel two-story facility rising from the ground at the intersection of 101st Street and Northern Boulevard hopes to become the regional after care center, not only serving Corona's some 100,000 residents (a small city in its own right), but surrounding neighborhoods as well. The 10,500 square ft. structure, complete with handicapped elevator access, has enormous potential for professionals in the medical community looking to put their center on the map. And, although 100 Northern Blvd. Real Estate has received many rental inquiries from major retailers and corporations regarding its newest project, the development team is focused on saving this space for a practice that will add services to benefit the community.

Too often the region's best after care facilities are in the greener and more spacious suburbs of Long Island and New Jersey. Extended travel time means added stress to both caregivers and recovering patients, not to mention expensive tolls, costly fuel and inconvenient mass transit. About six miles from Manhattan and the Bronx, Corona is ideally positioned to bring the best of both urban and suburban worlds. Its diverse makeup of some 80 ethnic groups demonstrates its vitality as a tight-knit community - a place where recovering patients can feel at home.

"We have a product that is distinct and different from anything else available on this corridor," said Afshin Hedvat at 100 Northern Blvd. Real Estate. "It really will be a special place for the community of Corona."

Of course a medical facility's potential success lies not just with its own internal strengths, but in how the building complements and is complimented by a community's cultural institutions as well. In Corona, such amenities include the Langston Hughes Library, the Louis Armstrong Museum, and the Shiva Hindu Temple and Cultural Center, among others. All of these institutions - along with the professionals who run them - with the right partnerships, seminars and guest speakers, will help enrich the minds and spirits of those receiving care at the new facility.

The often-quoted doctor Martin H. Fischer once quipped, "In the sick room, ten cents' worth of human understanding equals ten dollars' worth of medical science." Corona's new medical facility hopes to match his worthy figures and more!
