With 17 years of professional experience, Dr. Chavez has served as a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner for the past three years. A community health care specialist, she excels in providing unparalleled patient care.

Dr. Chavez earned an MD from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, Mexico in 1998. She also holds a Master's of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a member of the American Public Health Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International.
