Ruthlin Seymour celebrates more than 50 years of success in the nursing field

MIAMI, FL, December 1, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ruthlin M. Seymour, Retired Clinical Staff Nurse for the Mental Health Department of Jackson Memorial Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing. She has been selected for inclusion in Pro-Files Magazine and received the Elite American Nurse designation.

With more than five decades of experience in the medical field, Ms. Seymour works as a clinical staff nurse for the mental health department of Jackson Memorial Hospital, where her responsibilities include working in the crisis department for children. She became involved in her profession after moving from Kingston, Jamaica, to Canada when she was 22 years old. Soon after, she moved to the United States, where she worked in various hospitals throughout New York and New Jersey before relocating back to Jamaica and then to Miami.

Ms. Seymour is a retired nurse who holds certification as a registered nurse from the state of Florida. She studied general nursing and gained the credential of registered mental health nurse in England. In her spare time, she is organizing as a volunteer to assist in the education of young children in her homeland of Jamaica, West Indies. Her longtime dedication to her field led to her previous recognitions by Cambridge Who's Who as a Top Industry Expert and Professional of the Year. She believes that "people must learn to listen and endure, as well as to be strong, consistent, equipped, and ready to face the changes and challenges in life."
