As an undergraduate and graduate student of biochemistry, Dr. Wilczak was inspired to apply her studies to the care of patients. She completed an MD from the Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by a residency at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed a cardiac anesthesia fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. Now, with 16 years of comprehensive experience, Dr. Wilczak serves as the chief cardiac anesthesiologist at Metropolitan Anesthesia, P.C.

Dr. Wilczak possesses a great interest in the application of pharmacology and physiology to patient care. She also has strong family values and a spiritual focus — qualities she applies to patient care. Passionate about her work, she intends to continue her success in the coming years. Dr. Wilczak holds memberships to a number of professional organizations, including the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, the Michigan Society of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeons, the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Heart Association.
