Sarah L. Pysell, BS, NREMT-P, marks nine years in the service of Frederick County, Md.
OAKLAND, MD, June 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sarah L. Pysell, a Paramedic II in the Department of Fire and Rescue Services for Frederick County, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in emergency medicine.
Sarah L. Pysell has nine years of experience as a paramedic for Frederick County. Her responsibilities include inspecting the unit, ensuring that equipment is in its proper order and place, responding to calls, treating patients based on illness or injury, administering medications, and tending to life-threatening injuries. Ms. Pysell, who became involved in her profession because she was influenced by friends who volunteered for the fire department, attributes her success to the support she receives from her family and friends, and to the motivation she has received from her instructors.
In five years, Ms. Pysell would like to experience professional growth within the fire department and further her education. She received a bachelor of science in emergency health services in 2006 from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, The American Legion, the Local 3666, the International Association of Fire Fighters, and the International Association of Fire Fighters Union.
