Candace Shelton celebrates more than 20 years in the health care industry

Ms. Shelton is an experienced health and productivity consultant with more than 20 years in the health care industry. She is a director in the National Clinical Practice at Buck Consultants, LLC, for the past five years and has been a consultant for 10 years. In this capacity, she uses her background as a registered nurse to assist employers in crafting and implementing health benefit offerings by developing customized strategies around wellness and disease prevention, health management, vendor management, contract negotiations, program implementation, and ongoing program management. She has also spoken at several national and regional conferences on the topics of care management and health promotion.

Ms. Shelton holds a Bachelor of Science in health care management in addition to her status as a registered nurse. She is also a certified case manager and a certified wellness program manager.
