Matthew Lederman, MD, brings his expertise in infertility and in vitro fertilization to the Continuum Reproductive Center

NEW YORK, NY, August 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matthew Lederman, Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at the Continuum Reproductive Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in reproductive endocrinology, and infertility.

Inspired to enter the medical field after completing field training, Dr. Lederman has served as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at the Continuum Reproductive Center for two years. He holds an MD from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and completed a residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, and finally, a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Dr. Lederman is particularly interested in the areas of unexplained fertility, reproductive imaging, and in vitro fertilization (IVF), and as a result, has become an expert in the latter subject and infertility as a whole. He has presented research findings at national conferences, and been published in peer-reviewed journals concerning reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

At the Continuum Reproductive Center, Dr. Lederman regularly monitors patients undergoing insemination and IVF cycles, and treats patients suffering from endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. He has also been granted hospital privileges at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Northern Westchester Hospital, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Westchester.

He is a board-certified subspecialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the Westchester Ob Gyn Society. He is also affiliated with The Endocrine Society, which awarded him a travel grant in 2009.
