Karen R. Geiger Featured in Prestigious Cambridge Who's Who Registry
Karen Geiger is motivated to make a difference in her patients' lives

PORTLAND, OR, August 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Karen R. Geiger, IV Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

A registered nurse for more than 46 years, Ms. Geiger has had the opportunity to work in a variety of different settings. From hospitals to home infusion centers to a county jail, she has taken on all aspects of nursing but especially enjoys practicing IV care. Currently an IV consultant, she visits nursing facilities to provide guidance and instructs classes at pharmacies and long-term care facilities. She also retains memberships to the Infusion Nurses Society and the Association for Vascular Access.

Ms. Geiger, who holds a diploma in nursing from Legacy Emanuel Hospital, became interested in the nursing profession after receiving a tonsillectomy at the age of eight. Since then, she has remained focused on making a difference in her patients' lives. A great success, Ms. Geiger credits her achievements to her hard work and dedication.

Ms. Geiger has been married for 40 years. She raised four children and has three grandchildren. She actively participated in church, school and work activities.
