Glen A. Sutch Recognized for Excellence in Counseling and Therapy
Mr. Sutch served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years

PLACENTIA, CA, September 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glen A. Sutch, Marriage and Family Therapist Intern for the County of Orange Health Care Agency, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in therapeutic services.

For the past five years, Glen A. Sutch has devoted his career to serving the patients of the Orange Health Care Agency as a marriage and family therapist intern. Maintaining a focus on family therapy, as well as alcohol and drug abuse prevention, he meets with veterans and their families to counsel and provide advice as needed. His duties also entail conducting crisis intervention. As an intern, he works under the supervision of Dr. Karen Jaker Mapack, psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist.

Prior to joining the County of Orange Health Care Agency, Mr. Sutch served as a gunnery sergeant in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years. During his tenure in the military, he completed tours worldwide, including deployments to Grenada and Beirut. Following his service, he was influenced by his five children, whom he raised on his own as a single father, to pursue a career in family therapy.

Mr. Sutch earned a Master of Science in counseling, with a concentration in marriage and family therapy, from California State University, Fullerton and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Carson-Newman College. He is affiliated with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He attributes his success to his dedication, hard work, educational background and life experiences. In the years to come, he intends to obtain a license as a marriage and family therapist and continue to grow in his profession.
