WOODHAVEN, NY, September 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Harry Rivera Jr., Project Manager of Brooklyn Health Information Exchange, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in information technology.

Known for being detail-oriented, people friendly, and thorough, Mr. Rivera has excelled in development and project management for the past 10 years. Serving Brooklyn Health Information Exchange, he is charged with several responsibilities, such as linking all regional hospitals and providers into one central repository and ensuring that data is flowing properly with no errors.

In addition to his many talents, his exceptional drive and internal motivation comes to the forefront when he is called to implement health information technology, maintain systems, or fix a problem. He has always been interested in computers and programming, and feels that the field is beneficial to others. In his current position, he also manages other development projects, facilitates and coordinates resources, and tests interfaces.

Earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology, in addition to a Master of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Baruch University, Mr. Rivera intends to become a director of information technology in the health care field, and eventually become a chief information officer or a chief technology officer.
